Common questions about the product, data security, billing and quotas.
Babel·Mails is a multilingual email workspace for cross-border business: a unified inbox that aggregates your mail accounts, AI that reads foreign-language email and drafts replies in your mother tongue, plus a business glossary and country-specific etiquette templates. Built for export trade, international support and global teams.
Gmail (official OAuth), Outlook/Hotmail (Microsoft Graph), and any IMAP mailbox — with built-in presets for NetEase 163 and QQ Mail, plus a generic IMAP option for other providers. Binding is encrypted and can be revoked anytime.
Mail bodies, OAuth credentials and translation caches are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; all traffic goes over HTTPS. The server keeps a copy of synced mail to power translation and AI features; unbinding an account erases it within 30 days. You can export or delete all of your data anytime from Settings.
The free plan is available forever: 1 mail account, 10 AI replies and 10 email translations per month, and the full official glossary — no credit card required.
Monthly quotas reset automatically each billing cycle. Paid plans can fall back to Credits (0.5 Credit per translation) once the monthly quota is used up; free plans can upgrade or wait for the reset.
Cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal from the Billing page — service continues until the end of the current period. Refunds follow Section 6 of the Terms; for billing questions contact [email protected].
Translations and drafts are generated by a large language model and automatically apply your glossary for consistent terminology. We recommend human review for critical terms and contracts. AI output is a draft aid, not legal advice.
The web workspace is responsive and works in mobile browsers. A browser extension is in development and will be free for existing users when it ships.
